1.2 Local Data Storage

All data is stored on your local device:

• Screenshots and recordings: Saved in your specified local folder
• Whiteboard files: Saved in your local documents directory
• App settings: Saved in macOS system's local configuration files
• OCR recognition: Processed locally using Apple Vision Framework, no data uploaded

2. Data Usage

2.1 Local Processing

All features of FocusCapture and AosomeBoard run locally on your device:

• Screenshot feature: Captured and edited directly locally, no server involved
• Screen recording: Recorded locally using macOS native APIs
• OCR recognition: Text recognized locally using Apple Vision Framework
• Whiteboard feature: All drawing and editing operations completed locally

2.2 Network Connection

The application only connects to the network in the following cases:

• Update check: Periodically checks for new versions (can be disabled in settings)
• Activation verification: Pro version activation requires license verification (only transmits license key)

Important: Even when connected to the network, we do not upload any of your content data.

3. Data Security

3.1 Local Security

We take the following measures to protect your data security:

• Sandbox protection: App runs in macOS sandbox environment, isolated from other apps
• Permission control: Only requests necessary system permissions (screen recording, file access, etc.)
• Encrypted storage: Sensitive settings encrypted using macOS Keychain
• Secure coding: Follows Apple security coding standards to prevent data leaks

FocusCapture provides the following privacy protection features:

• Window exclusion: Exclude specific windows during recording to avoid capturing sensitive information

• Auto detection: Intelligently detects and alerts potentially sensitive content

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Apple Services

The app uses the following Apple native services:

• Apple Vision Framework: For OCR text recognition, completely processed locally
• AVFoundation: For screen recording, no data upload involved
• App Store: For app distribution and updates, follows Apple privacy policy

4.2 No Third-Party Tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services:

• No Google Analytics
• No Facebook SDK
• No advertising networks
• No data collection tools

5. Data Sharing

Since we do not collect any of your data:

• We will not share your data with any third parties
• We will not sell your data
• We will not use your data for marketing purposes
• We will not use your data to train AI models

FocusCapture and AosomeBoard are suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there are no children's privacy concerns.

Since all data is stored on your local device, you have complete control:

• Deletion right: You can delete any files or uninstall the app at any time

• File retention period is determined by you
• Uninstalling the app will not automatically delete your files (unless you choose to delete them)
• We do not retain any of your data on servers

Since we do not collect or transmit any data, there are no international data transfer issues. All data processing is completed on your local device.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

FocusCapture and AosomeBoard desktop applications do not use cookies or any tracking technologies.

Our official website (www.focuscapture.cn) may use basic cookies to improve user experience, but does not track personal information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When updated:

• We will publish the new version in the app and on our website
• Major changes will be notified to users through in-app notifications
